People are running in the direction of Mykhaylivska Square. Berkut riot police have just started storming the Ukrainian House. Just a couple of minutes ago the situation around the European Square was calm, but Berkut have suddenly poured in and proceeded to attack the building.
All those who managed to flee are running in the direction of Mykhaylivska Square. Those caught by Berkut are being severely beaten. Gunshots ring in the air. Protesters hurl rocks and shoot fireworks in response. Maidan Self-Defense troops have retreated to Triokhsviatytelska street.
